 After the publication of the series's previous installment in 2019, the franchise's creators promised that it would continue, but they didn't confirm any rumors about its release or production. On June 30, 2023, four years after the previous release, Akshay Kumar shared the news with his followers on social media along with the movie's poster. Riteish Deshmukh will appear in Housefull 5, released on Diwali in 2024 but the official it was changed, and the release date has been scheduled for June 6, 2025.

For now, only two names have been confirmed for Housefull 5 – Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh. There are rumours that John Abraham, Abhishek Bachchan and Bobby Deol are also likely to be a part of the upcoming movie.
