Sixty years later when filmmaker Aashiq Abu revisits Basheer's original script, his attempt at a remake closely adheres to Basheer's vision. A writer (Tovino Thomas) moves into an apparently haunted mansion where former resident Bhargavi (Rima Kallingal), believed by many to have committed suicide after her lover Sasikumar (Roshan Mathew) abandoned her, is still present rumor has it; soon the writer discovers more than meets the eye when writing her tragic account!
